Home Free Program Outcomes

In fiscal year 2008-2009, Home Free served over 5,000 adults and children in the Portland metropolitan area with face-to-face services.

Within this number:

321 people (185 adults and 136 children) were provided with emergency housing through motel vouchers this reporting period.

2,619 petitioners were assisted in filing restraining orders at the Multnomah County Courthouse by Restraining Order Advocates.

111 households (111 adults and 220 children) were provided with permanent housing assistance. 52 of these households were continuing in the program from last year and 59 of them were newly enrolled this year.

1461 adults and children were served by outstationed staff, by referral to advocates attached to established collaborative projects, as walk-ins or to our outreach office, or through our children’s program or support group services.
